The City LoftHotel is committed to the protection of the environment.
It is quite natural that we have adopted this approach of a green vision, through simple gestures at first - the sorting of waste, the elimination of single-use plastic whenever possible... - and then through strategies and objectives, which we wish to perfect every day.
How do we combine this approach with the satisfaction of our customers, who are looking for luxury and comfort?
RENEWAL OF THE LINEN IN THE ROOM
The management of the linen represents one of the most notable actions within our establishment. We sensitize our customers who can choose to have their towels changed only on request.
WE ENCOURAGE OUR CUSTOMERS AND ENGAGE OUR EMPLOYEES
Through a display for our customers and training in Eco-gestures for our employees, we encourage them to reduce their water and energy consumption. Turning off the lights, air conditioning... these are far from trivial gestures.
WE VALUE THE PRODUCTS OF OUR REGION
At the Cityloft hotel, a rigorous selection of local producers with rich terroirs and suppliers favoring short circuits and organic for some, are at the heart of our approach to the local economy. To fight against food waste, we recover the food not consumed at breakfast, which is delivered to a farm to be used as food for animals.
WE DEVELOP SLOWTOURISM / ECO MOBILITY
The Cityloft hotel is promoting ecomobility by setting up a scooter loan service within the hotel for its guests.
WE USE ORGANIC/REUSABLE CLEANING PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS
Within our establishment, maintenance is one of the most recurrent tasks. We affirm our ecological effort by choosing eco-labelled cleaning products that respect the environment. The jam jars are recovered and reused by our supplier, we use wooden spoons and bamboo fiber cups as well as ecolabelled placemats and napkins.
WE FIGHT AGAINST FOOD WASTE
A simple, effective and fast solution is implemented via our partner on the management of breakfast waste. Thanks to COMPOST'OND we value our waste which will now be treated and transformed into compost.
WE REDUCE WATER AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION
Our lighting has been replaced by low-energy LED bulbs, water savers have been installed in the kitchens and bathrooms. Finally, presence presence detectors in the common areas allow us to regulate the lighting.
WE CONTROL OUR ENERGY CONSUMPTION
During off-peak periods, the hotel cuts off electricity to unoccupied units. The hotel also recovers batteries via a collector.
